Vallen Productions was incorporated January 1, 2017. We first started in film production but then transitioned to small business video production when one of our founders became available full time to grow the business. After several film and commercial projects, we discovered that our clients were best served through a more holistic approach to marketing, bringing us to our focus of social media management with strong roots in video production.
Allen D. Edwards was born and raised in and around Savannah, GA. He started his first business in 2002 and sold it in 2011. After working in private sector for a few years, he was introduced to film by being an extra in "The Birth of a Nation" in 2015 and then stage plays by Richmond Hill Community Theatre's Robin Hood, as Bishop, in 2016. Being a natural networker and fan of business, he started exploring the business possibilities of the film industry. After dabbling in a few productions and commercials he ultimately reignited his passion for helping small business grow via digital marketing, social media management, and web site design. Marketing is a technical and business skill he has refined by marketing his own businesses and having a technical affinity.
Allen has two daughters, and has such eclectic hobbies as film production, dance, stage plays, screen writing, travel and acroyoga. He is currently traveling North America while helping clients.
In late 2016 Valeria Tannuzzi and Allen Edwards first came up with the idea of starting a movie production company. In a partnership pitch, Allen, off the cuff, mentioned a "ship" name of "Val"eria + Al"len" to form Vallen Productions. Valeria decided to pursue other interests and ventures in mid-2017 but the name remained as a unique moniker already building brand recognition.
