I was having a great conversation with a client recently about the purpose of marketing. During this conversation, I realized that many entrepreneurs, even successful ones, haven’t studied sales and marketing. They are the technicians in their business, as described in The E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber. In fact, they are usually the best technicians which lead them to start their own business in the first place.
